Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 May 2026. This policy explains how pari-club.com (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use the Site. It should be read together with our Cookie Policy, which describes storage technologies in more detail. If anything here conflicts with mandatory law, the mandatory rules prevail.
Data controller
The operator responsible for this website can be reached at info@pari-club.com. We process data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 where applicable. For general correspondence we act as controller of the categories described below. Operators you visit after leaving the Site act as independent controllers of their own processing.
What we collect
We may process:
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and approximate region derived from standard server logs.
- Cookie and storage data where you consent (see our Cookie Policy).
- Email content if you contact us directly, including headers and delivery metadata.
- Age-gate confirmation stored in session storage during your visit so we do not repeatedly interrupt browsing.
- Cookie preference flags stored in local storage when you interact with the banner.
Purposes and lawful bases
We use technical data to secure the Site, fix errors, and understand aggregate traffic (legitimate interests). Where cookies are non-essential, we rely on consent. If you email us, we process your message to respond (legitimate interests and, where relevant, pre-contractual steps). We do not use the information described here to build invasive behavioural profiles across unrelated third-party sites; our focus is operating a static informational website with minimal tracking.
Automated decision-making and profiling
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. Basic bot filtering or rate limiting on infrastructure may occur at the hosting layer without profiling you as an identified individual beyond short-lived security signals.
Retention
Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting, then deleted or aggregated. Emails are kept for a reasonable period to manage ongoing correspondence unless a longer period is required by law. Session storage for the age gate clears when you close the browser tab or window. Local storage for cookie preferences persists until you clear site data or we change keys as part of a technical migration, in which case we will endeavour to minimise disruption.
Sharing and processors
We do not sell your personal data. We may use infrastructure providers (for example hosting) who process data on our instructions under written agreements requiring security and confidentiality. When you follow outbound links to operators, their privacy policies apply instead. If we change hosting regions, we will rely on appropriate transfer tools where personal data leaves the UK.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including transport encryption where supported, access controls on administrative interfaces, and patching expectations with suppliers. No online service can be guaranteed perfectly secure; you should keep devices updated and avoid reusing passwords across unrelated accounts.
Your rights
Depending on circumstances, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability. You may lodge a complaint with the ICO. To exercise rights, contact info@pari-club.com. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing records to prevent fraud.
International transfers
If processors are located outside the UK, we use appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations, where required. We periodically review vendor locations and contractual clauses when renewing services.
Legal claims and regulatory requests
We may preserve or disclose information if required to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users, the public, or ourselves, subject to applicable limitations and professional review.
Children
The Site is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Updates
We may revise this policy; the “Last updated” date will change and continued use may indicate acceptance of material updates where consent is not the sole lawful basis. If we introduce new processing that materially changes risk, we will adjust this policy and, where necessary, refresh consent flows.
